Forest School FAQ
Welcome to our Forest School FAQ! We're excited to share information about this wonderful outdoor learning experience. Here are answers to some common questions:
What is Forest School?
Forest School is an inspiring approach to outdoor education that allows children to learn and grow through regular, hands-on experiences in nature. It's not a traditional school in the woods, but rather a unique way of learning that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence. At our Forest School, children engage in activities like building shelters, identifying plants and animals, using tools safely, and developing their problem-solving skills – all while having fun in the great outdoors!
What do you need to wear for Forest School?
Dressing appropriately is key to enjoying Forest School in all weather conditions. Here's what your child needs:
For cold weather:

- However, some food labels may state that the item was produced in a facility that also processes allergens.
- If your child cannot consume foods made in facilities that process allergens, please inform us immediately.
Important Note for Parents
If your child has severe allergies or cannot consume foods produced in facilities that may have allergen cross-contamination, please let us know in advance. This will help us ensure we can provide safe and enjoyable alternatives for your child during forest school sessions.
