Today we met together for the first time as this year's school council. We discussed the purpose of a school council and what we will be doing throughout the year. Our role is really important to share what other children in our class are thinking and to feed back to Dr Kentish and Mrs Yale. We might be tasked with certain questions to ask our class or we may share thoughts and opinions that have arisen. 

We spoke about the word democracy, what it means and how we will use this to vote next week. We have been tasked with designing this year's school Christmas card, which will be sent out to staff, and we will receive one too! Let's get our creative caps on!
