School council meeting 11-11-24

RK welcomed everyone to the 'Reading Bus'.

Agenda:

1 - Welcome & Apologies

There were none

2 - Christmas card.

RK shared the design and the cards that had now been delivered (thanks once again to Fifi)

3- London

RK stated that it was 99% certain we can attend London The Palace of Westminster - would confirm with the HT of the joint school.

4 - Democracy and voting

RK led  a discussion about the recent USA Presidential election and the UK summer election. The most votes - the winner; everyone should respect and follow where possible.

5 - Chair & Minute taker

RK led a discussion about the two jobs and what they mean. RK asked all children to consider if they want to stand for the role, make a 30 second 'speech' and we will democratically vote.
