RG Session 2.
This week in Class RG, our little adventurers had a fantastic time during their second morning session.
They did an excellent job remembering the safety rules and showed off their marching skills! We practised sitting down and getting up in our fire circle, and the children were attentive listeners throughout.
They had a blast choosing from various activities: constructing with loose-parts, making delicious mud kitchen soups and hot chocolate, and exploring water play with different tools. Creativity flourished as they made faces from natural materials and coloured leaves.
During snack time, we shared a story that sparked discussions about forest animals and the importance of sharing—like why there was only one biscuit!
Some children expressed interest in feeding the fox and having bird feeders at forest school. If you have any bird tables or feeders to spare, we’d love to give them a new home!
As the weather cools, please remember to send your child in layers, including waterproof gloves and hats. We do our best to keep everyone warm and dry, but a little mud is part of the adventure! So please remember to send the children in old clothes and to send dry school uniform in a bag for them to change into if needed.
Thank you for your support!
