Reception's Wonderful Wintery Forest School Morning!

Brrr! It was a chilly one this morning in Forest School, but we had so much fun!
Teamwork was the name of the game today. Lots of children helped Mrs. K start building a dead hedge – dragging branches is harder than it looks! Some children got creative with planks and tyres, while others loved making mud pies and discovering wiggly worms in the mud kitchen. The best part for some was creating smelly potions with herbs. This week the children took turns in being photographers too.
We also talked about how to keep warm when it's cold outside and learned a new game called "Stick, Stick, Fire!" We practised how to stay safe in the fire circle, ready for future adventures. Some crafty children made bird feeders by wrapping sticks in colourful wool.
Next week, Forest School is on Wednesday, so remember to wrap up super warm in lots of layers, with gloves and hats again! We can't wait to see you there!r blog post here.
