Taking Action Against Litter!
Our recent Eco Council meeting focused on an issue that resonates deeply with our school community: litter. The representatives, passionate about maintaining a clean and eco-friendly environment, discussed the importance of addressing litter within the school grounds.
To tackle this challenge, the Eco Council has been tasked with completing a litter audit in their classes. This hands-on activity will help us identify areas where litter is prevalent and understand the types of waste being generated. By gathering this data, we aim to develop targeted strategies for improvement.
In addition to the audit, the council is excited to create informative posters to be displayed around the school. These posters will serve as visual reminders for pupils and staff alike, encouraging everyone to take responsibility for their waste and to recycle whenever possible.
The enthusiasm and commitment shown by our Eco Council representatives highlights the importance of student voice in promoting environmental awareness. By working together, we can foster a culture of respect for our surroundings and inspire positive change throughout our school community. Let's make our school a cleaner, greener place for everyone!
